Every tap in Bubblesplitz splits a bubble into smaller, faster ones and pushes your combo multiplier higher, pouring points into a growing pot. But the pot is only yours once you BANK it — hit Space and it's locked in; miss a tap first and it's gone. That single decision, bank now or push for one more split, is the heartbeat of the game. Bombs chain-clear whole clusters for massive swings, gold bubbles drop currency, and levelling up unlocks new themes and arenas. The story so far
One idea, grown into a live game
Bubblesplitz was built from scratch by Value Unlimited (VU Games), a small Swedish studio, as a purpose-built HTML5 arcade title — a custom Canvas 2D engine with fixed-timestep physics and object pooling, audio synthesized entirely at runtime, all wrapped in a Next.js static export so it loads fast and runs anywhere. It started as an experiment in a single “one more round” idea: the split-and-bank combo loop. That mechanic proved sticky enough to grow into a full live game — real-time online multiplayer, daily seeds, weekly quests, and an XP ladder of unlockable arenas.
